Brand New Toyota Compact Pickup Model, Toyota IMV 0, is set to launch in Thailand on November 27, 2023

The brand new Toyota IMV 0 is confirmed to make its official debut and commence sales in Thailand on 27 November, 2023. The introduction of this model is set to give a boost to the small car market here as it is expected to bring new life, and the price of this car is anticipated to be slightly over 400,000 Baht. 

Toyota IMV 0 is the IMV-0 Project by Toyota to enhance the potential of compact pickup trucks in this model. Even though this model is slightly smaller than the Hilux REVO, it offers an upgraded versatility. This model is actually very similar to a Lego vehicle where it allows for component detachment for personal customisation – when one wants to modify it into a flatbed, pickup truck, food truck, box truck, for off-road modification, or even camping. 

The dimensions of this Toyota IMV 0 are as follows: a length of 5,300 mm, a width of 1,785 mm and a height of 1,740 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,085 mm.

Horsepower of Toyota IMV 0: 

• Brand-new Toyota IMV 0 will be powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine with a displacement of 2,393 cc. The VN-Turbo engine will assist to deliver a maximum of 150 horsepower at 3,400 rpm and a peak torque at 343 Nm at 1,400-2800 rpm. This output is coupled with a choice of 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmission. The engine can use B20 biodiesel.
• The 2.4-litre diesel engine in the Toyota IMV 0 with 2,393 cc displacement features VN-Turbo technology, to provide 150 horsepower at 3,400 rpm and a peak torque of 400 Nm at 1,600-2,000 rpm. As this function is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, it supports the usage of fuel up to B20 biodiesel.
