Audi bids farewell to the V10 engine with the R8 Coupe Japan Final Edition, with only 8 units to be produced.
In addition to bidding farewell to the Audi TT series, we would also have to say goodbye to the Audi V10 engine. Audi will produce a total of eight R8 Coupe Japan Final Edition cars to complete the legend and to commemorate the history of this model in Japan.
The Audi R8 Coupe Japan Final Edition will feature a white, red and gold colour scheme, which are the main body colours sold in Japan. The exterior will then be topped and finished in Ibis White Matte with carbon fibre aerodynamic parts, and black badges. The 20-inch, five-spoke wheels are in bronze, with rose gold callipers for the carbon ceramic brake system.
The interior is decorated in black and Alabaster White, with diamond stitching on the backrests of the seats and also the roof. The seats will be upholstered in Nappa Leather, and the roof will be in Alcantara. Lastly, the car’s sills have the unit’s production number (out of 8) and the special model name.
Of course, the Audi R8 Coupe Japan Final Edition comes with a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 620 horsepower and 580Nm of torque. The car’s power would be delivered to all four wheels via a 7-speed S-tronic transmission.
The lucky folks who own this model would receive an artwork with the chassis number of the individual unit on a metal car plate. The estimated price of this Audi R8 Coupe Japan Final Edition is 8,537,000 baht (35,080,000 Japanese Yen)
