Ms. Supinya, the owner of the electric car, recounted her harrowing experience. After leaving her electric car in the rain for just 20 minutes, the battery started malfunctioning, resulting in repair costs exceeding 1 million baht. The car has been under repair for several months, with no follow-up or assistance provided.
It has since been revealed that the issue has been resolved after discussions between the car owner and the company executives. It was concluded that the insurance company agreed to cover the repair costs. Necessary parts have now been sent to the service center to repair the car and restore it to normal.
The details of the repair costs for the car are as follows:
- High-voltage battery for the Performance model: 754,910 Baht
- Charging cable sheath: 34,240 Baht
- Motor drive controller maintenance kit: 111,120 Baht
- Motor drive controller: 45,220 Baht
- Eight Snow White sensors: 2,720 Baht
- High-voltage wiring kit: 10,620 Baht
- High-voltage HP wiring kit: 6,290 Baht
- Labor for installing Snow White sensors: 5,070 Baht
- HV wiring kit replacement: 8,385 Baht
- Charging cable sheath replacement: 487.50 Baht
- Front headlight domain labor: 8,385 Baht
- Rear light domain labor: 10,530 Baht
- High-voltage battery replacement labor: 3,900 Baht
The total repair cost is 1,001,877.50 Baht, excluding VAT. The company assured the car owner that the repair would be carried out as soon as the parts arrive at the service center.
