Watch out for danger when your tires make these noises!

Tires deteriorate over time and with use, which can be easily observed by checking the tire tread, rubber quality, tread wear indicators, or the tire's expiration date. However, if you're unsure how to inspect them, you can also pay attention to the sounds they make.

Squeaking noise

If you hear a squeaking noise while driving straight, this is unusual. Typically, this sound occurs when making sharp turns at high speeds. If you hear it when driving straight, it's a sign to have your wheel alignment checked as soon as possible.

Whooshing or humming sound

If you hear a humming sound from the tires, especially after accelerating or when driving on different surfaces, it indicates that the tires are starting to experience issues.

Thumping noise at intervals

If you hear a thumping noise intermittently, especially when the wheels complete a full rotation, it's usually caused by uneven tire wear. This could be due to over- or underinflation, worn tire tread, contact with rough surfaces, or excessive weight being carried by the vehicle.

No matter what unusual sound you hear while driving, it's best to have your car inspected as soon as possible to fix any issues before an accident occurs.
