Why should you wash your car after it rains?

Many people feel that when it rains, their car gets cleaned naturally. However, that's a misconception!
In reality, rainwater doesn't clean your car effectively and can actually make it dirtier.
This is because when it rains, dust and various pollutants can settle on the car's surface. If we let it dry without cleaning, it can become a stubborn stain that's hard to remove and may harm the paint and finish of the vehicle.
Especially tar stains or bits of leaves, which tend to clump together more tightly when it rains. If left for too long, they become very difficult to wash off.
Additionally, rainwater can be acidic. If it stays on the car for too long, it may react with the car's surface, causing stains or even rust to form.
Therefore, it's important to wash your car as soon as possible after the rain stops. This will help remove any residues easily before they harden into stubborn stains, prevent rust formation, and keep the car's paint in good condition for a long time.
