Engine oil helps lubricate various parts within the engine to work at their full potential, reduce friction and helps reduce heat inside the engine. If engine oil dries up, what will happen?

If the engine oil is dry, it will directly affect various parts within the engine, causing friction, and generates high heat and wears out quickly.

Warning sign of dry engine oil

• The engine makes an unusual noise because various parts inside the engine are rubbing against each other.
• The engine is overheating because normally engine oil helps control the heat of the engine. If engine oil dries out, it can cause the engine to overheat and damage other parts.
• The engine is sluggish, can't accelerate the engine, and there is white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe because there is no engine oil to lubricate and causing compression strength to decrease
• There is a warning sign on the car dashboard.

Therefore, you should check the engine oil level regularly or according to the distance specified in your car manual to prevent premature engine damage. Additionally, you should choose quality engine oil that is suitable for your vehicle and keep changing the engine oil as scheduled to extend the life of the engine and reduce maintenance costs.
