The Department of Highways, under the Ministry of Transport, has announced a waiver of toll fees on two major motorways
Special Highway No. 7 (Bangkok - Chonburi - Pattaya) and Special Highway No. 9 (Outer Ring Road of Bangkok) for a total period of 8 days to facilitate and reduce expenses for the public during the New Year's holiday.
Toll-free routes
- Motorway No. 7
- Bangkok – Chonburi – Pattaya
Main intersections: Bang Wua, Chonburi, Laem Chabang Port, Pattaya, Ban Nong Prue – Ban Chang
- Motorway No. 9
- Phra Pradaeng – Bang Khae section (Phra Pradaeng – Bang Khun Thian Interchange)
- Bang Pa-in – Bang Phli section
The toll exemption period will start from 00.01 AM December 26, 2024 to 12.00 AM January 2, 2025
