MG IM6 comes with full options, ready to hit the EV market on March 18th

MG IM6, the latest 100% electric SUV from MG, reveals details of the Thai version before the official launch on March 18, 2025, emphasizing the selling point of dual motors, 787 horsepower, acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 3.48 seconds.

MG IM6 in Thailand will have 2 sub-models: IM6 Premium 2WD and IM6 Performance AWD.

MG IM6 is a premium electric SUV coupe. The exterior is designed under the Gentle Sculpture concept, which is a design work by SAIC Motor Corporation and University of Art London. It comes with L-Shape headlights and Skyline Taillights.

The exterior body has a length of 4,904 mm., width of 1,988 mm., height of 1,669 mm., and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. It is equipped with frameless doors with Acoustic Glass all around, Hidden Door Handle exterior door openers with touch systems, and a panoramic glass roof with 3 layers of heat-resistant coating.

For the Premium 2WD model, 20-inch alloy wheels are installed, while the Performance AWD model will have 21-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, POPO Sofa seats are installed, covered with synthetic leather, electrically adjustable in 8 directions for the driver's side, with Lumbar Support and electrically adjustable in 6 directions for the passenger side. There is a cooling system for the front seats and a massage system specifically for the driver's seat.

Both sub-models come with 2 touchscreens, consisting of a 26.3-inch screen (for infotainment and driving information) and a 10.5-inch screen for controlling various functions. 

In terms of motors and batteries, the Premium 2WD model is equipped with a single motor driving the rear wheels, providing a maximum power of 295 horsepower (217 kW) and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The battery capacity is 75 kWh, the voltage is 400 volts, and the driving range is 550 km per charge (according to the NEDC standard).

The Performance AWD model is equipped with a dual motor drive system that produces a maximum power of 787 hp (572 kW) and a maximum torque of 802 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.48 seconds and has a top speed of over 240 km/h. The battery capacity is 75 kWh and the voltage is 875 volts. The driving range is 634 km per charge (according to the NEDC standard).
