Did you know? Not everything is suitable for car modifications.

Many car enthusiasts like to add accessories to enhance performance or style, but some modifications, while they may look cool, can actually increase the risk of accidents.

What should you avoid when modifying your car?
  • Tinted Decorative Headlights

Tinted headlights reduce the effectiveness of your car’s lighting, limiting visibility. Other drivers may also have difficulty seeing your brake lights and taillights, which can increase the risk of accidents.

  • Blue Parking Lights, Flashing Lights, and Overly Bright Headlights

Lights such as xenon and ice cream lights can be distracting to other drivers. These types of lights can cause eye irritation, blurry vision, or temporary blindness, leading to potential accidents.

  • Fake Seatbelt Clips

Some people dislike wearing seatbelts, and to silence the seatbelt alarm, they use fake seatbelt clips. However, driving without a seatbelt is extremely dangerous. In the event of an accident, the body may be violently thrown or even ejected from the car, resulting in serious injury or death.

  • Non-Standard Brake Covers

Brake covers that don’t meet standards can reduce the efficiency of heat dissipation from the brakes, increasing the risk of brake failure.

  • Oversized Wheels and Wide Tires

While large wheels may seem to enhance speed and power, they actually place more strain on the suspension. They can also be hazardous on narrow roads, as the wide tires could scrape or collide with other vehicles.

Modifying a car outside the legal limits can result in fines. It’s always a good idea to check legal regulations before making modifications to avoid future problems.
